Join Memphis Talent Dividend, an action initiative of Leadership Memphis, and community partners for a day-long event (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) providing informational sessions to college-bound students. A Taste of College will include presentations on financial aid, student housing, and a student life panel discussion.
Around the country, up to 40% of graduating seniors heading to college end up not attending. The goal of this program is to help college-bound students have access to as many resources as possible to ensure that their transition to college goes smoothly. This free event will provide resources and recommendations to answer questions that may remain about college life including topics such as: FAFSA, selecting college classes, time management, and study skills.
If you are a recent high school grad that is heading into your freshman year of college, join us for this free event!
